Our Eggs

We feed USDA certified organic feed that is non-GMO and soy free.

Certified means that all aspects of the supply chain are documented, inspections are done yearly, and production is recorded.  In other words,  we have the paper trail with the documentation for all the certifications.  That means that you, the customer, can be assured that the eggs are being fed certified organic feed, are certified soy-free, and certified non-GMO.

Our chickens range freely outside most of the year except for 2-3 weeks in the spring and fall when wild bird populations are migrating.  The chickens remain in their large coop to protect them from potential disease from the migrating birds.  There are also times during the growing season where aerial predators are a problem such as hawks, owls, and eagles.

We house the hens for 7-10 days to break the cycle of the predators returning each day.  This issue alone is a non-compliance from the USDA. We feel protecting our flock is more important.

Please take the time to read the information below on soy obtained from the Weston A. Price Foundation website.
